El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar como Hector Tizon recrea la memoria y la identidad en su narrativa. En la parte teorica nos centramos en los temas relacionados con la identidad, es decir, el exilio exterior e interior; la memoria individual y colectiva; la casa; y el viaje exterior e interior como tema literario. A base de la teoria expuesta, pretendemos en la segunda parte del trabajo analizar las tres obras escogidas. Primero La casa y el viento (1984), luego El hombre que llego a un pueblo (1988), y por ultimo La belleza del mundo (2004).The main objective of this paper is to analyze how HectorTizon recreates memory and identity in his narrative. In the theoretical part, we focus on issues related to the identity, that is, external and internal exile; individual and collective memory; home; and outer and inner journey as a literary theme. In the second part, three selected novels, namely, La casa y el viento (1984), El hombre que llego a un pueblo (1988), and La belleza del mundo (2004), are analyzed based on the theory presented.
