Dále uvádí výhody, nevýhody, limitace a indikace této léčebné modality. Předkládá publikované poznatky o postavení brachyterapie v léčbě onkologicky nemocných.The bachelor thesis summarizes the latest findings about the indications and techniques of brachytherapy. It deals with history and present of brachytherapy. There are described sources of radiation and their ways of application. It also presents advantages, disadvantages, limitations and indications of this healing modalities. It presents published findings on the status of brachytherapy in the treatment of oncological patients.
