Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá zjednodušováním grafiky čínských znaků. Hlavním cílem bylo zjištění zastoupení jednotlivých metod zjednodušení a snížení počtu tahů a prvků v textu. Analýza byla provedena na základě komparace dvou verzí beletristického textu, jednoho psaného ve zjednodušených znacích, druhého v nezjednodušených. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a analytickou. Teoretická část představuje kategorizaci čínského znakového písma, vývoj grafiky a reformy zjednodušování v průběhu 20. století. Analytická část obsahuje analýzu metod zjednodušení a následný pokles počtu tahů a prvků mezi dvěma korpusy, každého o celkovém rozsahu 72 544 znaků. Data jsem zkoumala jak na úrovni repertoáru, tak i souvislého textu. Prokázalo se, že největší zastoupení má na obou úrovních metoda zjednodušení úpravy grafiky, konkrétně fonetické složky. Podíl zjednodušovaných znaků a rovněž i pokles průměrného počtu tahů odpovídá hodnotám analýzy v odborných publikacích, s nimiž byly získané hodnoty srovnávány.The Bachelor thesis focuses on the simplification of the graphics of the Chinese characters. The main goal of the thesis was to investigate the proportion of the individual simplification methods, and the decrease of the number of the strokes and component parts in a text. The analysis was based on the comparison of two versions of a belletristic text, with the first version written with the set of simplified Chinese characters, and second version written with the set of traditional Chinese characters. The thesis is divided into the theoretical part and analytical part. Theoretical part contains information about the categorization of the Chinese writing system, development of its graphical structure, and the simplification reforms of the writing system established in the 20th century. The analytical part includes analysis of the simplification methods and the subsequent decrease in the number of strokes and component parts in two corpuses, each with a total length of 72 544 characters. The analysis was performed on both repertoire of individual characters without the repeated occurrence and on the coherent text. It was found that the largest proportion of the simplified characters was simplified using the graphics modification method, specifically the modification of phonetic components. Percentage proportion of the simplified characters and the decrease in the average number of strokes is in agreement with the numbers presented in the published literature.
