Tato práce pojednává o komunikaci sociálních pracovníků s cizinci, přičemž teoretická část se zabývá prve vysvětlením pojmu základní komunikace, se všemi jejími aspekty v rovině verbální i neverbální, rovněž komunikačního procesu. Další část práce se zabývá termínem komunikace interkulturní, se zaměřením na úlohu kultury v kontextu interkulturního dialogu, poté vyčleňuje specifické role a kompetence interkulturního pracovníka, předpoklady a bariéry v rámci interkulturní komunikační interakce a v poslední řadě jmenuje dílčí metody a nástroje, užívané v praxi V rámci části praktické, realizované jako kvalitativní výzkum, pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů, jest cílem primárně identifikovat metody a nástroje, dále pak bariéry a předpoklady pro komunikaci mezi sociálními pracovníky a cizinci. Má za cíl zjistit, zdali komparuje pouze již popsané metody a nástroje nebo dojde-li k doplnění o nové či ještě nepopsané předpoklady a bariéry.This thesis deals with the communication of social workers with foreigners. Firstly the theoretical part deals with the explanation of the concept of basic communication, with all its verbal and non-verbal aspects, describing also the course of the communication process. Then it defines the term intercultural communication, focusing on the role of culture in the context of intercultural dialogue, and also the specific roles and competences of the intercultural worker, assumptions, and barriers within the intercultural interaction. Lastly, it mentions partial methods and tools used in practice The practical part of my work, realized as qualitative research through semi-structured interviews, was primarily aimed to identify methods and tools, as well as barriers and assumptions in communication between social workers and foreigners. It aims to find out whether it only compares the existing ones or whether new methods and tools, or even unprecedented assumptions and barriers will be added.
