Cílem této práce je překlad povídky "Kulový blesk" Alexandra Viktoroviče Iličevského a prostřednictvím tohoto překladu umožnit českému čtenáři seznámení s moderním uměleckým textem ruské literatury. Záměrem bylo přeložit dílo, které ještě do češtiny přeloženo nebylo, a ukázat styl, myšlenky a kreativitu současných ruských autorů na příkladu Alexandra Viktoroviče Iličevského. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí. První část je věnována teoretickým otázkám stylu a překladu. aké je v ní uveden medailonek autora povídky a charakteristika jeho stylu. Druhá část obsahuje samotný překlad a analýzu problematických jevů překladu.The main goal of this thesis is to translate the short story "Ball lightning" by Alexander Viktorovich Ilichevsky and via this translation to give an opportunity to czech readers to familiarize themselves with a contemporary russian literary work. The intention was to translate something, which has not been translated into Czech language yet and to show style, ideas and creativity of contemporary russian authors on an example of Alexander Viktorovich Ilichevsky. This thesis consists of two parts. The first part is devoted to theoretical issues of style and translation. It also consists of short biography of the author and characterization of his style. The second part contains the translation and analysis of the problematic phenomena of the translation.
