Bakalářská práce s názvem Životní příběh osoby s mentálním handicapem, klientky pobytové sociální služby, pohledem blízkých osob, pojednává o mentálním handicapu a práci s životním příběhem. Metoda práce s životním příběhem může pomoct objevit a upevnit identitu mentálně handicapovaných a pomoct v náhledu na ně, jako na individuální lidské bytosti s důležitostí jejich vlastního životního příběhu. Cílem této práce je tedy popsat a analyzovat život mentálně handicapované z pohledu blízkých osob. Teoretická část se věnuje mentálnímu handicapu, jeho definici a specifikům a transformaci ústavní péče. Dále je v této části popsáno, co je to životní příběh, jakou má souvislost s identitou jedince a je zde popsána metoda práce s životním příběhem a s knihou života. V empirické části je popsán životní příběh mentálně handicapované a pomocí hermeneuticko-narativní analýzy jsou zpracovány vybrané kategorie tohoto příběhu mentálně handicapované z pohledu blízkých osob. Tento výzkum ukazuje možný způsob práce s životním příběhem.The Thesis "The Life story of mentally disabled person, client of a residential social service from the perspective of relatives" focuses on mental health and life story work. Method of life story work can help with finding and affirmation of the identity of people with learning disability. It can also improve seeing them as an individual human beings with their own life story. The goal of this thesis is to show and analyse life story of mentally disabled woman from the perspective of her closes people. The theoretical part deals with the definition of mental health, its specific and with the transformation of the institucional care. Also describes the life story and its conection with the identity of people and focuses on Life story work and making life story books. The practical part describes the life story of a mentaly disabled woman and with hermeneutical narrative analyse the chosen categories of the life story from the perspectiv of relatives. The theses shows possible way of using the life story work.
