Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku komunikace se seniory. Teoretická část práce vymezuje na základě poznatků z odborné literatury pojmy, které souvisí se stářím a stárnutím. Dále vysvětluje pojmy jako komunikace, verbální a neverbální forma komunikace, bariéry v komunikaci se seniory, chyby v komunikaci se seniory a doporučení ke komunikaci se seniory. Praktická část využívá dotazník jako metodu kvantitativního výzkumu. Výzkum zkoumá informovanost pracovníků přímé obslužné péče o problematice narušené komunikace seniorů v zařízeních pro seniory.This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of communication with the seniors. The theoretical part of the thesis determines terms related to age and aging based on the knowledge of the specialized literature. It also explains terms such as communication, verbal and non-verbal forms of communication, barriers to communication with the seniors, errors that may occur during communicating with seniors and recommendations for communication with them. The practical part uses a questionnaire as a method of quantitative research. The research examines the knowledge of staff of service care on the issues of impaired communication of seniors in homes for the elderly.
