Diplomová práce se zabývá postoji britských politických stran k evropské integraci v období 2010-2016. Práce má za cíl vyzkoumat, zda se tyto strany profilují na základě typologie Alekse Szczerbiaka a Paula Taggarta jako tvrdě či měkce euroskeptické. Aplikace této teorie je doplněna euroskeptickými kategoriemi Sorena Riishoje. Diplomová práce se dělí na pět kapitol. První představuje teoretickou konceptualizaci euroskeptických postojů. Analytická část tvořená zbylými kapitolami se věnuje výzkumu stanovisek Konzervativní a unionistické strany, Labouristické strany, Liberálně demokratické strany a Strany nezávislosti Spojeného království. Každá z nich má stejnou strukturu skládající se z rozboru postojů před volbami v roce 2010, 2014, 2015 a během kampaně před referendem o Brexitu. Na základě zjištěných informací je pak možné zodpovědět výzkumné otázky a potvrdit stanovenou hypotézu.Thesis deals with stances of British political parties on the European integration in period between 2010 and 2016. The main goal of the thesis is to analyse whether the position of these parties based on the typology of Aleks Szczerbiak and Paul Taggart can be defined as hard or soft Eurosceptic. Application of this theory is supplemented with Eurosceptical categories of Soren Riishoj. Thesis is divided into five chapters. First one presents theoretical conceptualization of Eurosceptic attitudes. Analytical part is composed of the rest of the chapters and is devoted to research of party opinions of Conservative and Unionist Party, Labour Party, Liberal Democratic Party and United Kingdom Independence Party. Each one of them follows the same structure consisting of analysis of stances from 2010, 2014, 2015 general election and the campaign before the Brexit referendum. Eventually, it is possible to answer research questions and verify the outlined hypothesis.
