Diplomová práce se zabývá spiritualitou a místem řízení mladých žen a seniorek žijících ve Zlínském kraji více než deset let. Cílem práce je porovnat spiritualitu těchto dvou skupin a zjistit souvislosti mezi spiritualitou a místem řízení s ohledem na věk. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní pojmy týkající se daných problematik. Nejprve se zabýváme spiritualitou a jejími fenomény, dále pojednáváme o situaci spirituality a náboženství v České republice. Poté je popsán koncept místa řízení a základy sociálního učení s ním spojené. Konec teoretické části pojednává o dosavadních kvantitativních výzkumech. V praktické části je popsán uskutečněný výzkum, kterého se zúčastnilo celkem 236 žen z toho 121 žen v mladé dospělosti a 115 žen v seniorském věku. Pro výzkumné účely byl použit dotazník na sociodemografické údaje a dvě testové metody: Expression of Spirituality Inventory (ESI) a I-E škála. Výzkum potvrdil některé souvislosti mezi pěti faktory ESI, věkem a místem řízení. Ostatní souvislosti se neprokázaly.This thesis deals with the spirituality and locus of control of Czech young adult women and senior women living in Zlín region more than ten years. The aim of the work is to compare spirituality of these two groups and to determine significant relationships between the spirituality, Locus of control and age. In the theoretical part, we focus on basic terms associated with spirituality and locus of control. At first, we start with spiritual phenomena; next we describe the situation of spirituality and religion in the Czech Republic. Then we deal with the Locus of control and social learning. At the end of the theoretical part, we deal with the quantitative research. In the empirical part of the thesis the research, in which 236 women participated, is described. There are 121 women of the total number of respondents who were in young adult age and 115 women who were in senior age. We use the questionnaire for sociodemographic information and two testing methods: Expression of Spirituality Inventory (ESI) and I-E Scale. The research has confirmed some expected significant connection between the five factors of ESI, age and Locus of control. Other connections were not proven.
