Bakalářská práce pojednává o zemětřesení roku 1755 v Lisabonu a o jeho následné rekonstrukci.Soustředí se především na historické centrum města, na tři důležitá náměstí - Praça do Comércio, Rossio, Praça da Figueira a na vzniklý prostor mezi nimi. Práce uvádí historické, politické a sociální fakta, která vedla k vytvoření současné podoby centra. Práce nabízí srovnání vzhledu a funkce zmíněných míst jak před přestavbou, tak i po jejím dokončení. Zaměřuje se na důležité osobnosti přestavby - architekty a prvního ministra, který celou rekonstrukci vedl.Bachelor´s work is about the earthquake in 1755 in Lisbon and his subsequent reconstruction. Put emphasis on the city centre, on three important spaces - Praça do Comércio, Rossio, Praça da Figueira and on the urban space between them. There are written historical, political and social facts that led to the creation of the center's current appearance. The thesis provides a comparison of urbanism and the original function of places with newborns. He devotes himself to the important persons of the reconstruction, to the architects, military engineers, and to the prime minister of the kingdom who directed all the works.
