Cieľom práce je uviesť do problematiky japonskej autorskej literatúry pre deti a mládež. Práca je rozdelená do štyroch kapitol. Prvá úvodná kapitola obsahuje charakteristiku detskej literatúry vo všeobecnosti. Stručne definuje jej základné prvky (témy, žánre, formy), jej význam a funkciu, ale tiež recipienta, ktorému je určená. Druhá kapitola sa zaoberá históriou vzniku japonskej detskej literatúry zhruba od stredoveku až po obdobie po 2. svetovej vojne, kedy sa začala postupne formovať japonská autorská literatúra pre deti a mládež. Tretia kapitola obsahuje biografie vybraných japonských autorov, ktorí sa literárnej tvorbe pre deti a mládež venovali/venujú primárne alebo sekundárne. V poslednej štvrtej kapitole sú charakterizované a analyzované niektoré z diel autorov, uvedených v predchádzajúcej kapitole.The purpose of the thesis is to introduce the issue of japanese authors' literature for children and youth. The thesis is divided into 4 chapters. The first the opening chapter contains the characteristics of children's literature in general. It briefly defines its basic elements (themes, genres, forms), its meaning and function, but also the recipient to whom it is intended. The second chapter deals with the history of japanese children's literature approximately from the Middle Ages to the post-World War II period, when the japanese authors' literature for children and youth began to form. The third chapter contains biographies of selected japanese authors, who devoted their literary works primary or secondary to children and young people. The last the fourth chapter characterizes and analyzes some of the literary works of authors mentioned in the previous chapter.
