Cílem práce je analýza a kompilace příčin vietnamsko-čínských transnacionálních sňatků. S použitím sekundárních zdrojů jsou sesumírovány všechny důvody, proč vietnamské ženy migrují z Vietnamu a vdávají se za čínské muže. Pro upřesnění a potvrzení údajů jsou také použita data z Generálního statistického úřadu ve Vietnamu a z Organizace spojených národů. Teoretická část práce je věnována představení pojmů migrace, transnacionální migrace v Asii a teorie migrace, především push-pull teorie. V praktické části je poté uchopena push-pull teorie migrace na situaci mezi Vietnamem a Čínou. Pro naplnění cíle je zvolena metodologie případové studie.The aim of the thesis is to analyze and compile the causes of Vietnamese-Chinese transnational marriages. All the reasons why Vietnamese women migrate from Vietnam and marry Chinese men were summed up by using secondary sources. Data from the General Statistical Office of Vietnam and the United Nations were also used to clarify and confirm the specification. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces concepts of migration, transnational migration in Asia and migration theory, especially push-pull theory of migration. The practical part of the thesis then applies push-pull theory on the problem of Vietnam and China. To fulfill the aim of the thesis a case study methodology was chosen.
