Práce se zabývá třemi díly spisovatele Josepha Rotha "Falešné závaží", "Job" a "Císařova bysta". Snaží se o základní interpretaci děl jak po obsahové stránce, tak po stránce literárněvědné. Opírá se o základní fakta ze života autora, která se snaží využít při vlastní interpretaci podobnost obsahu díla a biografie autora.The thesis deals with three works of Joseph Roth "The Wrong Weight", "Job" and "The Bust of the Emperor". It tries to analyse the content of works as well as literary-scientific context of texts. It is based on autobiographical data of the author which it uses for its own interpretation similarity of the author's life and the content of his stories.
