Bakalářská práce analyzuje a interpretuje román Popraviště kyrgyzského spisovatele Čingize Ajtmatovova. Rozebírá život a dílo autora, přibližuje zajímavé a pro dílo důležité poznatky o Kyrgyzstánu, území, kde se děj románu odehrává a z něhož autor pochází. Druhá část práce je zaměřena na analýzu a interpretaci díla. Komentuje knihu z hlediska kompozice, tematiky i jazykové složky a v poslední kapitole si všímá zajímavých myšlenek a motivů. Na základě skryté symboliky se snaží rozklíčovat význam díla a jeho přesah do života běžného člověka v 21. století.The Bachelor Thesis analyzes and interprets the novel called The Place of the Skull written by the Kyrgyz author Čingiz Ajtmanov. It explains the author´s life and work and also describes interesting and for the book important knowledges about Kyrgysztan, the area where the plot of the novel takes place and also from which the author comes from. The second part of the thesis concentrates on the analysis and the interpretation of the book. It comments on a composition, themes and linguistic constituents of the book. The final chapter is focused on remarkable thoughts and motifs. It strives for the explanation of the meaning of the book on the basis of hidden symbolism and its value in the life of an ordinary person in the 21st century.
