V této práci se snažíme porozumět zkušenosti osob, které užily v České republice látku psychedelické rostliny Tabernanthe iboga, z hlediska jejich motivace k tomuto činu, psychických, somatických, duševních a spirituálních prožitků bezprostředně po aplikaci této látky, a případných změn, které se následně udály v jejich životech; zjišťujeme rovněž, jak je daná látka v České republice užívána. Z důvodu exkurzu do neopakovatelného světa prožitků každého jedince s cílem získat bohatá data a vytvořit novou teorii, volíme kvalitativní přístup s metodou zakotvené teorie. Docházíme k závěru, že klíčovou složkou pro implementaci významu celé zkušenosti se zkoumanou látkou do respondentova následného života je integrace. Ta má vliv na to, jak se jedinec následně cítí, a jaké se v jeho životě dějí změny. Na integraci mají vliv intervenující podmínky, jako je prostor, čas, možnost sdílení, okno příležitostí, možnost záznamu, a informace. Při existenci těchto podmínek, jejich využití a naplnění, vnímají respondenti integraci jako dostatečnou, v opačném případě jako nedostatečnou.In this study we try to understand the experience of people with a history of use of substances extracted from plant Tabernanthe iboga in terms of motivations to such action, types of psychological, physical, mental and spriritual experiences after the application, as well as potential changes in various areas of their lives, which may have subsequently unfolded in relation to the above mentioned experience or series of experiences. At last we also analyze how these types of substances are used in Czech Republic. In order to reach the goal of gathering abundant data relating the unique realms of experiences of each individual and create a new theory, we choose the qualitative approach applying the gronded theory method. We conclude that integration is a key component for implementing a meaning to the whole experience with the studied substance into the respondent's subsequent life. This impacts how the individual feels and what changes happen in his life. The degree of integration of the experience is influenced by intervening conditions such as space, time, sharing, window of opportunity, recordability and information. In the presence of these factors, their use and fulfillment, the responders perceive the degree of integration as sufficient or otherwise insufficient.
