Cílem diplomové práce je charakterizovat radiologického asistenta jako profesi v českém prostředí a analyzovat aktuální stav profesního rozvoje radiologických asistentů v mezinárodním měřítku a v ČR po novele zákona č. 96/2004 Sb. platné od 1. září 2017. K dosažení cíle je v práci postupováno analýzou vývoje pojmů profese a profesionalizace. Následně je analyzováno povolání radiologického asistenta jako profese, příprava na profesi v pregraduálním, postgraduálním a dalším vzdělávání. Z analýzy zahraničních článků jsou zaznamenány směry v profesionalizaci radiologických asistentů. S ohledem na novelu legislativy je pak formulována otázka vztahující se k tématu práce. Jaký mají aktuálně názor na další vzdělávání a profesní rozvoj radiologičtí asistenti konkrétního zdravotnického zařízení? Výsledky ankety vyzněly pozitivně, což může být způsobeno původním nastavením celoživotního vzdělávání radiologických asistentů před novelizací legislativy.The objective of this thesis is to characterize the profession of radiographer in the Czech environment and to analyze the current situation of the professional development of radiographers on the international level and the level of the Czech Republic after the entry into force of the amendment of Act no. 96/2004 Coll. on 1 September 2017. The objective is reached through analysis of the development of terms profession and professionalization. The profession of radiographer, training for the profession in pregraduate, postgraduate and life-long education are analysed subsequently. Analysis of foreign articles results in a review of trends in professionalization of radiographers. A research question related to the topic of the thesis is formulated with regards to the legislative amendment. What is topical opinion of further education and professional development in radiographers of a particular health institution? The survey results were positive what can be influenced by the original structure and position of life-long education of radiographers before the entry into force of the amendment.
