Tato diplomová práce se zabývá diakonickou funkcí katolických farností v Arcidiecézi olomoucké. Teoretická část je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol: postavení diakonie v rámci církve, farnost a její komunitně - diakonický charakter, diakonie farnosti ve vybraných dokumentech magisteria 21. století a hlavní zdroje inspirace pro službu potřebným. Na teoretickou část navazuje část praktická, ve které je realizován kvantitativní průzkum.This thesis explores the diaconal function of the parishes within the Catholic church in the Archdiocese of Olomouc. The theoretical part is dividend into four chapters: the position of diacony within the Church, the parish and her communal - diaconal character, the diacony of the parish in selected documents of the 21st century and the main sources of inspiration for diacony. The theoretical part is followed by the practical part, which is implemented by quantitative research.
