Práce předkládá obraz středověkých muslimů z pohledu křesťanské společnosti a poukazuje na chybné soudy středověkých autorů. Výsledný pohled vychází ze dvou významných děl evropské kultury z písně o Rolandovi a z románu Willehalm od Wolframa von Eschenbach. Oba texty předkládají reflexi raných vztahů mezi dvěma náboženstvími, které odedávna stojí v opozici.The thesis presents the expression of medieval Muslims from the point of view of Christian society and points erroneous judgments of medieval authors. The resulting view is based on two major works of European culture The Song of Roland and The Willehalm by Wolfram von Eschenbach. Both texts represent a reflection of the early relations between the two religions, which have always been in opposition.
