Tématem bakalářské práce jsou startupy jako trend rozvoje nových podniků. Teoretická část je zaměřena na definování startupu, jeho charakteristiky a analýzu historie startupů převážně v České republice a Spojených státech amerických. Praktická část obsahuje porovnání nejúspěšnějších zahraniční startupů s českými po dekádách a případovou studii českého startupu.The bachelor thesis deals with startup as a trend of newly emerging businesses. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on definition of the term startup and its characteristics, and analyses its development mainly in the Czech Republic and the United states of America. The practical part of the thesis contains comparison of the most successful foreign startups with Czech startups by decades and a case study of a Czech startup.
