Tato bakalářská práce analyzuje židovství ve vybraných prózách Jiřího Weila. V první kapitole se věnuje životě a tvorbě samotného autora. Následně přechází k analýzám jednotlivých děl, kde začíná románem Život s hvězdou (1949). Následuje román vydaný posmrtně Na střeše je Mendelssohn (1960). V páté kapitole se věnuje unikátnímu výboru všech Weilových povídek pod názvem Hodina pravdy, hodina zkoušky (1966), kde jsou součástí i krátké lyrické prózy Barvy. V poslední šesté kapitole se zabývá unikátním a nejoriginálnějším dílem Weilovy tvorby, a to Žalozpěvem za 77 297 obětí (1999). Cílem práce je vyhledat prvky židovství ve výše uvedených titulech.This bachelor thesis analyzes Judaism in selected prose works by Jiri Weil. In the first chapter, bachelor thesis focuses on the author's life and creation. Bachelor thesis then goes on to analyze individual works, starting with the novel Life with a Star (1949). This is followed by a novel published posthumously Mendelssohn is on the Roof (1960). In the fifth chapter, bachelor thesis devotes itself to the unique committee of all Weil's short stories entitled The Hour of the Truth, the Hour of the Examination (1966), where short lyrics of The Colors are also included. In the last sixth chapter it deals with the unique and most original work of Weil's work, namely Dirge for 77,297 victims (1999). The main goal is to analyze the Judaism in the named titles independently of each other.
