Diplomová práce se zabývá úpravou vybraných kapitol publikace od Stanislava Kratochvíla pro potřeby čtenářů se sluchovým postižením. V teoretické části popisujeme termín sluchové postižení, kategorie osob se sluchovým postižením a taktéž se zabýváme komunikací a psychologickými charakteristikami osob se sluchovým postižením. Dále se zaměřujeme na sexualitu obecně, podrobněji na sexualitu osob se zdravotním postižením a taktéž na sexuální výchovu. Věnujeme se také specifikům čtení u osob se sluchovým postižením. Praktická část se zaměřuje na konkrétní postup při úpravě textu. Uvádíme zde také ukázky vybraných částí originálního textu a porovnáváme jej s textem upraveným. Srozumitelnost upravených textů jsme ověřili prostřednictvím rozhovoru.This diploma thesis presents the modification of selected chapters from the publication of Stanislav Kratochvil. It is designed specifically for the needs of hearing impaired readers. In the theory portion of the paper, we define the term hearing impaired as well as the specific category of persons with this impairment. In addition, we also focus on communication style and psychological characteristics of people with hearing impairment. At first, we target the topic of sexuality in general terms and then, in greater detail, address the sexuality of people with disabilities. We also cover sexual education issues. At last, we focus on challenges with reading that are specific to people with hearing impairments. The practical portion of this paper focuses on specific procedures used to edit and modify the original text. It includes some examples of selected parts of the original text as they are compared to the text that is modified. We have used the practical interview method to verify the clarity of the modified text.
