Motivem pro tuto práci se stalo nezřetelné chápání pojmu hudební sentimentalita. Cílem bylo objasnit význam tohoto pojmu a kontextu jeho používání v estetice 20. století. Východiskem se stala vybraná estetická a filozofická pojednání autorů 20. století.The main theme of this thesis was the unclear understanding of the concept of musical sentimentality. The aim was to explain what this concept means in connection with its use in 20th century aesthetics. The starting point became the chosen aesthetic and philosophical treatise writers of the 20th century.
