Magisterská diplomová práce je zaměřena na výzkum problematiky strategií zvládání stresu u výběrového souboru rodičů dětí s postižením, jež čítal celkem 98 respondentů (58 žen, 40 mužů). Primárním cílem diplomové práce byl popis kompletního výběrového souboru z hlediska preference jednotlivých strategií zvládání stresu a z hlediska celkové kvality psychického stavu rodiče dítěte s postižením. V teoretické části práce jsme definovali rodinu s důrazem na přítomnost člena s postižením a zaměřili jsme se na problematiku stresu a jeho zvládání rodiči dětí s postižením. Ve výzkumné části práce jsme aplikovali postupy kvantitativního přístupu, vzhledem k povaze hypotéz hovoříme o diferenciačním přehledu, v jehož rámci jsme vyhodnotili dotazníky a komparovali získané výsledky s normou, následně prostřednictvím zvolených statistických metod jsme ověřovali významnost souvislostí mezi jednotlivými proměnnými. Pro získání dat ve výzkumném šetření jsme aplikovali dotazníky SUPOS 7 a SVF 78.This master's thesis focuses on research into the area of stress management strategies for a selected group or parents of children with handicaps, which consisted of a total of 98 respondents (58 women and 40 men). The primary goal of the thesis was to describe the entire selected group from the point of view of its preferred individual strategies and the overall quality of the mental state of the parents of children with handicaps. In the theoretical section of the work, we have defined the family with an emphasis on the presence of a member with a handicap and we have focussed on the area of stress and how it can be managed by the parents of children with handicaps. In the research section, we have applied the procedures of a quantitative approach, we mentioned the differentiation summary, within the framework of which we evaluated the questionnaires and compared the acquired results with the standard, in relation to the nature of the hypotheses and we subsequently verified the significance of the contexts between the individual variables using the chosen statistic methods. We used the SUPOS 7 and SVF 78 questionnaires to acquire the data in the research investigation.
