Práce se zabývá pohledem raně novověkých anglických cestovatelů na Čechy a Moravu v letech 1570-1800, jeho proměnou a vývojem v průběhu zkoumaného období. Výzkum vychází z pramenů cestopisné povahy - rukopisných textů, ale také tištěné produkce. Cílem je představit prostor raně novověkých českých zemí z perspektivy vnějšího, cizího pozorovatele ze západní Evropy v kontextu geografických, kulturních, politických a konfesijních aspektů.The thesis deals with Bohemia and Moravia in the eyes of Early Modern English travellers in the years 1570-1800, its change and development during the whole examined era. The research is based on travelogues - manuscripts as well as printed books. The aim is to present the area of Early Modern Bohemian lands from the point of view of an external, foreign observer coming from the Western Europe in the context of geographical, cultural, political and confessional aspects.
