Předmětem magisterské diplomové práce je oblast komiksu beze slov. Práce se zaměřuje konkrétně na typ komiksu, který omezil verbální složku a sdělení konstruuje jen pomocí vizuálna. Kromě charakteristiky komiksu beze slov, jeho vizuálního jazyka a práce s narativními mechanismy, je zájem zaměřen také na otázku stylu a vztah mezi komiksem a uměním v kontextu západní kultury. Na základě analýzy zvolených komiksů je výstupem práce komparace, která porovnává přístupy autorů a jejich styl. Vybraní tvůrci: Moebius (Arzach), Peter Kuper (The System), Pavel Čech (A), Hendrik Dorgathen (Spacedog), Thomas Ott (The Number 73304-23-4153-6-96-8).The subject of this thesis is the field of silent comics. The work focuses specifically on the type of comics, which reduces the verbal segment and the meaning is constructed only by visual elements. Besides the characteristic of silent comics, its visual language and work with narrative mechanism, the interest is also focused on the question of style and relation between comics and art in the context if western culture. The aim of the analyses is a comparison, which is focused on the approach of authors and their style.
