Cílem této práce je přiblížit recepci italské dětské literatury v České republice, a to na knize Srdce od italského autora Edmonda de Amicise. Pro lepší zařazení díla do historického a kulturního kontextu je taktéž stručně nastíněno i jeho přijetí v Itálii. Obě recepce jsou následně vzájemně porovnány. Práce obsahuje i kompletní tabulku všech českých vydání knihy Srdce a graf vývoje její publikace v Čechách.The main aim of this thesis is to find out how the book 'Cuore' has been received in the Czech cultural context since its first edition till nowadays. The second part consists of the reception of the book also in Italy, which is afterwards compared to the Czech one. In the attachment, there can be found a complete list of all the Czech copies of Cuore and then also a graph showing the development of the pubblications, from which the recent decrease of the editions is evident.
