Magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou rodin s dětmi s onkologickým onemocněním. Cílem práce bylo zmapovat okolnosti od počátku onemocnění (sdělení diagnózy, přístup lékařů, jak to podle rodičů a dětí mělo být a nebylo), popsat dopad onkologického onemocnění dítěte na rodinu, na změny, které v rodině nastaly, prozkoumat faktory, které rodinám pomáhaly a které jí naopak zhoršovaly a zaměřit se na to, co by rodiče doporučili dalším rodinám v podobné situaci. V teoretické části jsme se zaměřili na přehled nádorových onemocnění u dětí, jejich typů a způsobů léčby, na psychologické aspekty onkologického onemocnění u dětí, komunikaci s lékaři a obecně na rodiny s dětmi s onkologickým onemocněním, rodinný stres a rodinou resilienci. V empirické části představujeme kvalitativní výzkum rodin s dětmi s onkologickým onemocněním Data pro výzkum byla získávána prostřednictvím rozhovorů se 7 rodiči (5x matka 2x otec) a se 7 dětmi ve věku 11-15 let, které jsou aktuálně v léčbě či krátce po ní. Získaná data byla analyzována pomocí obsahové analýzy dat.The diplomma thesis deals with families of children suffering from oncological diseases. The main goal of the thesis was to research the circumstances related to the disease, from the disease onset (including the diagnosis announcement, the doctors´approach and the children´s and parents´ feedback on the ways of diagnosis anouncement and overall approach), it describes the impact of oncological disease on the family and the introduction of the changes in the family life, last but not least, it the factors helping the familes cope with the diagnosis related issues or, on the contrary extracerbating the situation of the family. The thesis also presents parents´ recommendations to future patients´ families. The theoretical framework describes types of oncological diseases in children and their treatment. Due attentiobn was paid to the psychological consequences of the treatment and the communicatiton of the patients, their families and the doctors, the stress in the familes and the family resiliency. The empirical part of the thesis presents a qualitative-based research of families with oncological children. The data was collected in a semi-structured interview of seven families (five mothers and two fathers), and seven children under treatment or no more than three months off it. All the children were 11 - 15 years old. The data was analysed using content data analysis.
