Základním cílem bakalářské práce je srovnávací analýza filmových a televizních adaptací příběhu s Herculem Poirotem. Teoretická část je zaměřená na literaturu a prameny, ze kterých práce vychází, specifikaci žánru detektivní drama a komparativní metodologickou perspektivu se zaměřením na konstrukci hlavního protagonisty ztvárněného v různých verzích jinými hereckými představiteli. Dílčí zájem je věnován vedlejší postavě side kicka kapitána Hastingse. V analytické části budou v tomto smyslu zúročeny vybrané koncepty konstrukce postavy. Analýza je zaměřená na vybrané filmové verze a televizní filmy (Vražda v Orient-expressu, Smrt na Nilu a Zlo pod Sluncem).The primary goal of this thesis is a comparative analysis of film and television adaptations of the Hercule Poirot story. The theoretical part is focused both on literature and the sources from which the work is based, then on specification of the genre - detective drama. Concentration goes also on comparative methodological perspective, focusing on the main character featured by several actors in different versions. Partial interest is focused on the secondary character, Captain Hastings. The analytical part concentrates on selected concepts of the character construction. The analysis focuses on selected film version and television films (Murder on the Orient Express, Death on the Nile and Evil Under the Sun).
