Práce zahrnuje poznatky o anatomii příčně pruhovaného svalu, fyziologii svalového zkrácení a testování zkrácených svalů v rehabilitaci. Dále se zabývá základním rozdělením strečinku a možnostmi protažení zkrácených svalů. Následně je zmíněna problematika spoušťových bodů. Práce je doplněna kazuistikou pacienta.The graduation thesis consists of knowledge of anatomy concerning skeletal striated muscles, the physiology of muscle shortening and shortened muscle testing in rehabilitation. The thesis also deals with the basic features of stretching and the possibilities of shortened muscle elongation. Moreover, the issue of trigger points is mentioned. The study is supplemented by a case report.
