V rámci této diplomové práce nahlížím na prostituci jako na specifický druh podnikání, jehož předmětem je poskytování sexuálních služeb. Cílem práce je popsat a porovnat veřejné politiky vybraných evropských států včetně ČR, které upravují práva a povinnosti osob poskytujících sexuální služby na komerční úrovni, a dopad těchto právních úprav na osoby v prostituci. Podrobněji se věnuji situaci v 11 evropských státech včetně ČR. Ve své práci se věnuji také tomu, jak dochází k označování či sebeoznačování ženy za prostitutku a jaký je dopad stereotypů spojených s prostitucí na prostituující osoby.In this thesis I observe prostitution as a specific type of business, the subject of which is the provision of sexual services. The aim of the thesis is to describe and compare public policy in selected European countries including the Czech Republic, which govern the rights and obligations of persons providing sexual services on a commercial level, and the impact of these regulations on people delivering these services. In detail I present the situation in 11 European countries including the Czech Republic. I also dedicate my work how occurs labeling or self-labeling of a women as a prostitute and what the impact of stereotypes associated with prostitution on prostitutes.
