Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jaké překážky integrace cizinci vnímají a jaké jsou jejich návrhy pro odstranění uvedených bariér. K naplnění cíle jsem použila kvalitativní metodu a techniku polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Strukturu práce tvoří teoretická, metodologická a empirická část. V teoretické části práce se nejprve zabývám obecnými pojmy týkající se integrace cizinců do společnosti. Ve druhé kapitole pak představuji Koncepci integrace cizinců. Poslední dvě kapitoly teoretické části jsou pro práci stěžejní, k jejich sepsání jsem používala především již vzniklé výzkumy. Třetí kapitola popisuje bariéry integrace cizinců, jež jsem rozdělila do několika tematických celků. Čtvrtá kapitola pak jmenuje nejdůležitější návrhy řešení a doporučení uvedená respondenty parafrázovaných prací. V metodologické části popisuji využitou metodu, techniku sběru dat, výběr vzorku a způsob analýzy dat. Dále se zabývám etickými otázkami výzkumu a možnými slabými stránkami práce. Také zde stručně uvádím složení obyvatelstva okresu Prachatice, neboť v této oblasti probíhal výzkum. Empirická část práce odpovídá na výzkumné otázky. Je tvořena výsledky a diskuzí, v níž se odkazuji na pasáž teorie. Zařadila jsem též přehled respondentů a kategorií dat. Využívala jsem do velké míry přímé citace dotazovaných, abych autenticky zachytila jejich názory a zkušenosti.The goal of my thesis was to discover which barriers to integration are perceived by the foreigners and what can they do in order to eliminate the barriers through their suggested solutions. To fulfil my goal I used qualitative method and semi-structured interviews. The structure of the thesis is created by the theoretical, methodological and practical parts. At the beginning of the theoretical part I describe the general concepts that are connected to integration of foreigners into society. The second chapter introduces the Concept for Integrating Foreigners in the Czech Republic. The last two chapters of my theoretical part are crucial for the thesis. My main sources of information when creating these chapters were researches that have already been written in the past. The third chapter covers the barriers to integration of foreigners which I have divided into several units according to the subject. The fourth chapter provides the reader with a list of the crucial suggestions and recommendations given by the respondents of the researches I rephrased. In my methodological part I described the utilized method, method of the data collection, selection of the sample and the means of data analysis. Furthermore, I concern the ethical questions of the research and potential weaknesses of the thesis. I also briefly introduce the composition of inhabitants of the Prachatice region for my research took place in this area. The practical part of the thesis offers answers to the research questions. It consists of results and discussion in which I refer to the theory. I also added an overview of respondents and of categories of the data. To a great extent I used direct quotes of the respondent in order to capture authentically their opinions and experience.
