Táto diplomová práca je zameraná na porovnanie a hľadanie rozdielov medzi postavami v románe Pierra Choderlosa Laclosa, Nebezpečné známosti, a v troch rôznych filmových adaptáciách tohto románu. V práci sme sa sústredili najmä na rozdiely a podobnosti, týkajúce sa konštalácie postáv a ich charakteristík. Prvá časť práce pojednáva o filmovej adaptácii ako takej a o spôsoboch, ktoré film využíva pri adaptovaní knižnej predlohy. Druhá časť je zameraná na literárnu postavu, postavu románu. V tretej časti predstavujeme autora, zápletku a postavy románu Nebezpečné známosti. V štvrtej často zasa predstavujeme vybrané filmové adaptácie a to: Les Liaisons Dangereuses (1960), Valmont (1989) a Cruel Intentions (1999). V ďalšej, piatej časti, sa už priamo zaoberáme porovnávaním našich vybraných adaptácií s originálom a v šiestej časti je toto porovnanie zhrnuté podľa jednotlivých kritérií.The main aim of this diploma theses is to find the differences in the characters of the novel by Pierre Choderlos Laclos, Les Liaisons Dangereuses and its film adaptations. In this thesis, we focused mainly on the differences and resemblances concerning the constellation of the characters and their characteristics. The first part of the thesis deals with film adaptation as the notion and we introduce the techniques which are used in adapting a novel into film. The second part introduces the notion of a literary character and how these are transposed onto screen. In the third part, we introduce the author, the plot and the characters of the novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses. In the fourth part, we introduce selected film adaptations, which are Les Liaisons Dangereuses (1960), Valmont (1989) and Cruel Intentions (1999). The next part, is directly dealing with the comparison of our chosen adaptations to the original and in the sixth part, this comparison is summarized.
