Tato bakalářská práce na téma čtivost překladu uživatelských příruček z oblasti IT se zabývá uživatelskými příručkami na poli technického překladu. Cílem je porovnání čtivosti anglicky psaných příruček a jejich překladu do češtiny, na jehož základě zhodnotím kvalitu překladu. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se zabývá charakteristikou technických a odborných textů, uživatelských příruček z oblasti IT a jejich strukturou. Dále se také věnuje měření čtivosti v angličtině a češtině. V praktické části proběhne výpočet čtivosti vzorků výchozích textů a jejich překladů a zhodnocení úspěšnosti na základě těchto výsledků.The topic of this bachelor's thesis is readability of translated IT User Guides and it focuses on user guides and their specificity in the field of technical translation. The goal of this thesis is to compare readability of user guides written in English and their translations into Czech and then evaluate the quality of the translation based on measured readability scores. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical part and practical part. Theoretical part is focused on characteristics of technical translation and IT user guides and their structure. Additionally, it deals with measuring readability in Czech and English. Practical part contains measuring readability of chosen samples of source texts and their translation and evaluating how successful the translation is based on their readability scores.
