Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat a analyzovat toky a determinanty remitencí plynoucích ze zemí Perského zálivu do zemí jižní a jihovýchodní Asie. Práce se v první kapitole zaměří na teorii remitencí a determinantů, které je ovlivňují, a dále na stručnou charakteristiku vybraných geografických regionů. Druhá kapitola je věnována zkoumání a deskripci trendů v tocích remitencí mezi zeměmi uvedených regionů. V poslední kapitole jsou analyzovány determinanty ovlivňující výši remitencí ze zemí Perského zálivu do zemí jižní a jihovýchodní Asie. V práci bylo zjištěno, že výše zmíněné remitenční toky jsou objemově velmi významné. Tři čtvrtiny remitencí odeslaných do jižní a jihovýchodní Asie přišly z šesti zemí GCC. Nachází se zde důležité remitenční koridory s nejnižšími náklady na transfer remitencí na světě. Významnými determinanty jsou dle vícenásobné regresní analýzy podíl migrantů z cílové země ve zdrojové zemi, obrat společného obchodu, náklady na transfer remitencí a HPD per capita v cílových zemí remitencí.The aim of the Bachelor thesis is to describe and analyse flows and determinants of remittances flowing from the Gulf States to the South and Southeast Asia. The work firstly focuses on a theory of remittances and a theory of remittance determinants. It also briefly describes characteristic of the selected regions. Second chapter is dedicated to the analysis and description of the trends of remittance flows in the chosen area. Eventually in the last chapter the determinants of the remittance flows are searched using a regression analysis. It was found that remittance flows described above are significant. Three quarters of all remittances sent to South and Southeast Asia came from the six GCC countries. There are also important remittance corridors with the lowest transfer costs in the world. Important determinants of remittances are according to the regression analysis share of migrants in the countries of remittance origin, common trade, the costs of remittance transfers and GDP per capita of destination countries.
