Dizertační práce se zabývá poznávacími procesy dětských návštěvníků v expozici výtvarného umění. Cílem práce je zjistit a popsat, jak tyto procesy probíhají, jakou mají kvalitu a jak je možné tuto kvalitu zvyšovat. Výzkumná část dizertační práce, realizovaná smíšeným designem výzkumu, přináší poznatky o dětmi preferovaných výtvarných dílech z Obrazárny Arcidiecézního muzea Olomouc a také o významových složkách interpretace výtvarného díla, které ve svém výběru upřednostňují. Text dále doplňují obsahové analýzy žákovských výpovědí zaměřených na zdůvodnění preferencí při volbě výtvarného díla a jeho interpretovatelných významových složek a případných změn v preferencích vlivem řízené edukace.The PhD thesis deals with cognitive processes of children as visitors in the exposition of visual art. The objective of the work is to ascertain and describe the way these processes occur, their quality and the way the quality can be improved further. The research part of the PhD thesis realised through a combined design of research brings new knowledge on the works of visual art from the collection of the Picture Gallery of the Archdiocesan Museum in Olomouc that is preferred by children, and on the meaning-making components of the interpretation of a work of visual art which children-visitors tend to incline to in their choice. The text is also accompanied by the content analysis of pupils' responses reflecting the reasoning behind their preferences when choosing a work of art, and its interpretable meaning-making components, as well as possible changes in their preferences inspired by directed teaching.
