Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit vliv diabetu na psychiku člověka s diabetem mellitem I. typu. Praktická část práce zjišťuje formou kvalitativního výzkumného šetření názory osob s diabetem mellitem I. typu na vliv diabetu na jejich psychiku. Pro zjištění těchto dat byla využita technika polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Výzkumného šetření se zúčastnilo celkem osm osob s diabetem mellitem I. typu. Z výzkumu vyplývá, že diabetes ovlivňuje psychiku člověka při diagnostikování diabetu, při komplikacích, objevuje se vliv diabetu na spánek a cestování. Diabetes mění pozitivně žebříček hodnot, nastoluje otázky vlastní smrtelnosti. Osoby s diabetem se cítí být léčebným režimem omezování, proto se cítí při porušování léčebného režimu svobodněji.The thesis aims to determine the influence of diabetes on psyche of a person with diabetes mellitus type I. The practical part investigates by means of qualitative research the views of people with diabetes mellitus type I on the impact on their psyché. To determine that data semi-structured interview technique was used. Research investigation involves eight people with diabetes mellitus type I .The research shows that diabetes affects the human psyche in diagnosing diabetesa, in time of complicaions. Diabetes affects a person during sleep and travelling. Diabetes positively affects the hierarchy of values and raises questions of one's own mortality. People with diabetes feels limitation with regime measures that's why they are feeling more freely when they break the rules.
