The bachelor theses are aimed at exploring the perspective of Ortho-K therapy as a modern method of myopia control. Starting with the basics of Orthokeratology, the theses reveal fitting principles and possible issues, issues that the eye care specialist might face, followed by an explanation on how to deal with them. A statistical description of myopia prevalence as well as its social aspects form a significant part of the work. A broad analysis of the method based on scientific research is included in the practical part of the theses. The bachelor theses are aimed at exploring the perspective of Ortho-K therapy as a modern method of myopia control.
