The objective of this thesis is to find out whether postural and locomotion changes occur in the final stages of pregnancy. The obtained results of this study have been subsequently compared with results of non-pregnant women. The theoretical part of this thesis deals mainly with musculoskeletal changes which accompany pregnancy. The research part of this thesis focuses on data recorded on pregnant and non-pregnant women's stance and gait by using the FDM-T machine provided by the Zebris company. Based on the obtained results we can say that both changes that is change in type of posture as well as change in type gait have occurred. When it comes to a standing position, pregnant women put their weight on backfoot more compared to non-pregnant women. In addition, COP deviations were also greater when compared to those of non-pregnant women. When walking, the step length becomes shorter, the base of support grows bigger, and the time of the stance phase becomes longer.
