Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na jednu z nejčastějších komplikací pacientů s onemocněním diabetes mellitus, a to diabetickou polyneuropatii. Obecná část pojednává o etiopatogenezi, klinickém obrazu jednotlivých typů diabetické polyneuropatie a dále o důsledcích tohoto onemocnění. Závěr obecné části je zaměřen na dietní opatření, farmakologickou léčbu a také na využití psychoterapie u pacientů s bolestivou formou polyneuropatie. Speciální část bakalářské práce je soustředěna na léčebnou rehabilitaci používanou k terapii nejen senzorického a motorického deficitu, ale i k ovlivnění bolesti. Zvláštní kapitola je věnována vyšetření pacienta z pohledu fyzioterapeuta a kazuistice pacientky s tímto onemocněním. K této práci byl následně vypracován informační leták obsahující rehabilitační cviky pro pacienty s diabetickou polyneuropatií.The bachelor thesis is focused on one of the most common complications with patients with diabetes mellitus especially diabetic polyneuropathy. The general part discusses the etiopathogenesis, clinical reflection of each type of diabetic polyneuropathy and the consequences of this disease. The conclusion of the general part is focused on dietary measures, pharmacological treatment and also on the use of psychotherapy with patients with painful form of polyneuropathy. A special part of this work is focused on medical rehabilitation used in both sensory and motor deficits, as well as on the influence of the pain. A special chapter is devoted to the examination of the patient from the physiotherapist´s point of view and it also contains the case study of the patient with this disease. Subsequently an information leaflet was formulated containing rehabilitation exercises for patients with diabetic polyneuropathy.
