Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou nádorů jícnu, zejména jejich léčbou. Práce se zaměřuje na terapii pomocí chemoterapie, radiochemoterapie, chirurgického odstranění nádoru a zvláště pak na možnosti radioterapie. Zevní ozáření a brachyterapie se jako samostatné léčebné modality využívají v paliativní léčbě. Pro kurativní léčbu je potřeba radioterapii kombinovat s jinou terapeutickou metodou, nejčastěji se využívá konkomitantní radiochemoterapie. Pro radikální léčbu časných stádií nádorů jícnu je klíčová chirurgická léčba.This bachelor thesis discusses about tumors of the esophagus and their treatment. It focuses on therapy using chemotherapy, radiochemotherapy, surgical removal of the tumor, and especially on the possibilities of radiotherapy. External beam radiation and brachytherapy as separate therapeutic modalities are used in palliative cure. For curative treatment radiotherapy has be combined with any other therapeutic method, the most commonly used is concomitant radiochemotherapy. Surgical treatment is the most important therapeutic modality for the radical treatment of early stages of esophageal cancer.
