Diplomová práce pojednává o uplatnění firemních bank a spořitelen v současnosti. Teoretická část se věnuje základům bankovnictví a vymezuje hlavní funkce bank a spořitelen. Následně uvádí definici firemní banky a spořitelny a popisuje aktuální podmínky pro jejich provozování v České republice. Jako reálný příklad podnikové spořitelny z minulosti je předložena závodní spořitelna firmy Baťa. Praktická část se zabývá výzkumem alternativního přístupu k provozování firemní banky. V rámci výzkumné části byla použita kvalitativní metoda výzkumu, tzv. polostrukturovaný rozhovor. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat podmínky, za kterých lze v současné době provozovat firemní banky v České republice a jak na jejich uplatnění pohlížejí vybrané české podniky.This master thesis discusses the application of corporate savings banks at the present time. The theoretical part focuses on the basics of banking and identifies the main functions of banks and savings banks. Subsequently, the thesis provides a definition of corporate savings banks and describes the current conditions for their operation in the Czech Republic. As a real example of a corporate savings bank in the past, there is presented a company savings bank of the Bata company. The practical part deals with the research of an alternative approach to the operation of a corporate savings bank. As part of the research, the author used a qualitative research method called semistructured interview. The main objective of this thesis is to analyse the conditions under which the corporate savings banks can operate in the Czech Republic and how selected Czech companies perceive the application of the corporate savings banks.
