Ve své diplomové práci se zabývám pohledem na postavu La Malinche. La Malinche sehrála důležitou roli během conquisty Latinské Ameriky a vstoupila do historie jako tlumočnice dobyvatele Hernána Cortése. Avšak s odstupem času se stala předmětem rozkolů v názorech na mexickou historii. Cílem práce bylo podat komplexní historický profil této postavy a porovnat její literární interpretace v mexickém divadle 20. století.In my diploma thesis I deal with the vision of the figure of La Malinche in the perspective of history, myth and literature. La Malinche was an important element during the Conquest and the colonisation of Latin America and became an object of the discussions in the Mexican history. The goal was to compile a complex historical portrait of this figure and to compare her literary interpretations in the Mexican theatre within 20th century.
