Cílem této bakalářská práce je popsat službu obyvatel Hlučínska v německé armádě během Druhé světové války, stejně jako jejich vnímání v poválečném období. Hlavním zdrojem informací jsou výpovědi tří válečných veteránů a dvou dalších pamětníků. K doplnění těchto vzpomínek slouží informace z odborné literatury soudobých autorů a jednoho komunistického historika.This bachelor thesis's aim is to analyse the service of inhabitants of the Hlučínsko region in the structures of German army during the World War second as well as their role and status in the post war society. The main source of information constitutes of testimonies of three war veterans and two additional contemporary witnesses. In order to supplement these statements the thesis also uses information from research literature by contemporary authors and one communist historian.
