Tato práce představuje autora Alberta Camuse, jeho život a jeho dílo, stejně tak jako představuje existencialismus a jeho představitele, filozofii existence a témata absurdna a revolty. Dále se práce zaměřuje na tvorbu Camuse, především na tři díla z jeho 'cyklu absurdna': Le Malentendu, Caligula a L'étranger. V těchto vybraných dílech analyzujeme zdroje absurdna a hledáme a analyzujeme typy revolty.This thesis presents the author Albert Camus, his life and his work, and it also presents the existentialism and its representatives, the philosophy of existence and the themes of absurd and rebellion. The thesis then focuses on the work of Camus, most importantly on the three chosen works of his 'cycle of the absurd' : The Misunderstanding (Le Malentendu), Caligula and The Stranger (L'étranger). In these chosen works, we are describing the sources of the absurd and we are seeking and analyzing the types of the rebellion.
