Diplomová práce se zabývá překladem sémiotické studie "Im Zeichen der Zeichen" od Rolanda Posnera a jejím komentářem. V teoretické části je popsána znaková teorie Rolanda Posnera. Úvodní praktickou část práce tvoří překlad originálního text z němčiny do češtiny, jenž vychází zejména ze zásad funkčního a komunikativního přístupu k překladu. V praktické části jsou analyzovány dílčí translatologické obtíže a představeny možnosti jejich řešení.The thesis is concerned with translation of the Semiotic Study "Im Zeichen der Zeichen" by Roland Posner and its commentary. The theoretical part deals with the sign theory of Roland Poser. The first practical part presents the translation from German to Czech that is based mainly on the principles of the functional and communicative approach to translation. The theoretical part deals with the analysis of specific translational difficulties as well as the possibilities of their solutions.
