Hlavným cieľom bakalárskej práce je zistiť dôvody a zámery afrických študentov v Číne. Práca je delená na dve časti. V teoretickej časti sa venujeme sino-africkým vzťahom, konkrétne ich vývoju, obchodu, špeciálnym ekonomickým zónam a pod. Poslednú kapitolu teoretickej časti uzatvára práve náhľad do oblasti vzdelávania. Dozvedáme sa, že počet poskytovaných štipendií v Číne každoročne narastá. Praktická časť je venovaná prípadovej štúdií, ktorá bola realizovaná v meste Ningbo, ČLR. V rámci štúdie sme sformulovali dve výskumné otázky. Zvolili sme kvalitatívny aj kvantitatívny metodologický prístup. Získané data riadené rozhovory boli analyzované prostredníctvom metódy Zakotvenej teórie a zozbierané dotazníky pomocou štatistickej metódy. Respondentmi boli africkí študenti študujúci na Ningbo univerzite v Číne. V rámci interpretácie sme zistili, že hlavným dôvodom týchto študentov pre štúdium v Číne je nízky poplatok školného. Ďalšími spomenutými dôvodmi bolo napríklad množstvo pracovných možností, či jednoduché získanie prijímacieho listu. Väčšina nami oslovených študentov sa zamýšľa nad návratom do svojej rodnej krajiny, kde si chcú v budúcnosti nájsť uplatnenie práve v odbore štúdia.The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out the reasons and intentions of African students in China. It is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part of the thesis we describe Sino-African relations, specifically its development, trade, Special Economic Zones etc. In the last chapter of the theoretical part, we present the information about increasing numbers of provided scholarships. The practical part is devoted to a case study which was conducted in Ningbo, the People's Republic of China. We formed two general research questions and used quantitative and qualitative method for analyzing. For analyzing the constructed interviews we used Grounded Theory and for analyzing the questionnaires we used the statistical method. Our respondents were students of Ningbo University. From the research that has been carried out, it is possible to conclude that African students decide to study in China primarily because of low tuition fees. Other reasons, such as job opportunities, high acceptance rate were also mentioned. The results also suggest that the majority of the African students want to return to their home countries and find a suitable job in the fields of their studies.
