This bachelor thesis is aimed at introducing the concept of free will in the work of Jean-Paul Sartre and Giovanni Pico della Mirandola. The first two chapters serve to present their concepts while referring to their contemporary philosophical interpretations. The third chapter focuses on comparison of the formerly presented concepts and tries to point out their common points and differences. It also debates the level of possibility of this comparison.
