Předmětem této diplomové práce je případová studie britské strany United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP). Primárním cílem práce je analyzovat Stranu nezávislosti Spojeného království (UKIP), součástí analýzy je zařazení UKIP do čtyř typologií stranického euroskepticismu. Pro pochopení fenoménu euroskepticismu je třeba se zaměřit také na historické předpoklady pro euroskeptické nálady v Británii, sekundárním cílem je proto analýza britského euroskepticismu v pojetí dvou britských etablovaných stran Conservative Party a Labour Party, jejichž období vlády od roku 1945 je charakterizováno poměrně častými změnami stanoviska k evropskému sjednocování.This diploma thesis is a case study examining British United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP). The primary goal of the thesis is to analyze the UKIP and to categorize it according to four main typologi. To understand the phenomena of euroscepticism it is necessary to focus on historical foundations of eurosceptic thought in the United Kingdom, the secondary goal is thus an analysis of British euroscepticism as perseived by two major British political parties the Conservative Party and the Labour Party whose policies since 1945 are typical for frequent changes in attitude towards European integration.
