Diplomová práce je zaměřena na naplňování lidských potřeb seniorů v pobytových sociálních službách Pardubického kraje. V teoretické části jsou charakterizovány základní pojmy, jako je stáří, stárnutí, senior, kvalita života a lidské potřeby. Dále se zabývá sociálními službami pro seniory, jejich rozdělením podle zákona č. 108/2006 Sb., o sociálních službách a také zákonnými a etickými normami, ve kterých je zdůrazněno, že je třeba respektovat důstojnost každého člověka. V závěru teoretické části je popsáno individuální plánování průběhu poskytované sociální služby, jehož cílem je poskytování cílené podpory vycházející z přání a potřeb uživatele. Praktická část je věnována vlastnímu výzkumnému šetření, ve kterém je prostřednictvím rozhovorů s jednotlivými uživateli pobytových sociálních služeb zjišťováno, zdali jsou naplňovány jejich potřeby.The thesis is focused on fulfillment of the human needs of seniors in residential social services in the Pardubice region. In the theoretical part there are characteristics of basic concepts such as age, aging, elderly citizen, quality of life and human needs. The theoretical part also describes topics like social services for seniors, its parts diveded and defined by an Act No. 108/2006 Coll., on Social Services, as well as legal and ethical standards which emphasized the need to respect the dignity of every human being. In the end of the theoretical part there is described an individual planning of the provided social service which is aimed at providing focused and specific support based on the wishes and needs of the resident of the social service. The practical part is dedicated to research in which by means of interviews with residents of social services is examined whether the services are meeting their human needs.
