Diplomová práce se zabývá integrací žáka s mentálním postižením do běžného školství z pohledu pedagoga. V teoretické části je popsáno mentální postižení a charakteristika dětí s mentálním postižením podle jednotlivých stupňů mentálního postižení. Dále možnosti vzdělávání, které je zaměřené na žáka s lehkým mentálním postižením a na individuální integraci do běžné základní školy. Praktická část je věnována výsledkům šetření, jehož úkolem bylo zjistit jaký je postoj pedagogů základních škol na integraci žáka s lehkým mentálním postižením na jejich základní školu. V závěru práce je ukázka sociometrického testu.My thesis deals with the integration of a mental disabled pupil into the common education from the point of view of a teacher. In the theoretical part the mental disability and the characteristic of mental disabled children are described by the degrees of mental disability. Further possibilities of education that is focused on a student with light mental disability and on the individual integration into a regular primary school. The practical part is devoted to the results of the investigation, its task was to find out what is the attitude of primary school teachers on the integration of a pupil with a light mental disability to their primary school. At the conclusion of the thesis there is the presentation os the socio-metric test.
